Hope Lutheran Prom

Fancy dresses and shimmering shoes made each girl the belle of the ball at this year’s prom at Hope Lutheran High School on April 25.
At one of the smallest schools in the state, all 41 students at the school attended the annual dance. With nine guests accompanying, 50 teenagers danced the night away in the school’s gymnasium.
Red-and-white banners were draped from the center of the gym’s ceiling to the walls, suiting the “Under the Big Top” theme for the night.
Oversized popcorn containers with white-and-yellow balloons arching between the two created a fine backdrop for photos.
The thumping of the music continued until midnight, when prom-goers made their way to the East End Recreation Center for the after-party.
